Life Insurance (Individual Options)-Please note that policy features and definitions may vary by insurance provider.

Term Life Insurance

Term life insurance provides coverage for a specified period of time and is designed solely to offer financial protection to your beneficiaries if you pass away during the policy term. If death occurs within the coverage period, the policy pays a benefit to your beneficiaries; otherwise, the policy expires with no residual value.

When purchasing a term policy, you select the length of coverage—commonly 5, 10, 20, or 30 years. Most term policies feature a fixed death benefit and level premiums for the duration of the term.

Whole Life Insurance

Whole life insurance is a form of permanent life insurance that offers lifetime coverage along with a built-in savings component known as cash value. This cash value accumulates gradually on a tax-deferred basis, meaning taxes are not owed on growth while it remains in the policy. Policyholders may borrow against the cash value or surrender the policy for its accumulated value. However, unpaid loans can reduce the death benefit, and surrendering the policy ends coverage entirely.

We can also review additional protection options, including Long-Term Care (LTC) Partnership policies, joint and survivorship life insurance policies, and individual disability income protection designed to supplement group coverage.

Accident Insurance

Accident insurance helps offset medical and non-medical expenses that can arise after an accidental injury. Coverage may include emergency care, hospital stays, diagnostic testing, and related costs such as transportation or lodging during treatment.

Critical Illness Insurance

Critical illness insurance—sometimes referred to as dread disease coverage—typically provides a lump-sum payment if the insured is diagnosed with a covered condition listed in the policy. This benefit can be used at the policyholder’s discretion to help manage medical bills or other financial obligations.

Supplemental cancer insurance is designed specifically to help address the costs associated with cancer treatment and care. These policies provide financial assistance based on their terms and may help cover expenses not fully addressed by traditional health insurance. Premiums vary depending on coverage details and risk factors.

Dental Insurance

Dental insurance is a type of health coverage that helps pay for a portion of routine and preventive dental care, as well as certain restorative procedures.

Vision Insurance

Vision insurance supports eye health by covering routine eye exams and contributing toward the cost of corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses.

Disability Insurance (Short-Term Disability)

Short-term disability insurance helps replace a portion of your income if you are unable to work for a limited period due to illness or injury.

Hospital Indemnity Insurance

Hospital indemnity insurance provides a fixed cash benefit if you are hospitalized. Payments may be issued per day, week, month, or visit, depending on the policy, and can be used to help cover expenses related to hospitalization.
